Tradition: Breaking the glass under the Chuppa

The breaking of the wedding glass has many interpretations. It is a reminder of the destruction of the Temples in Jerusalem; its fragility symbolizes that the couple's love must be cared for. It is a metaphor for the vulnerability of human relationships.

The couple can select the colors they would like included in the cup. After the wedding, select their choice of sculpture to be made from the shards as a keepsake from their wedding.

Couples can choose from a lover, small pretzel, a pair of candlesticks, heart, or small arm up twist as shown in the gallery below.
